Policies

·           No change to medical policy.

Rank Advancement

·           Zach just needs approval for Eagle project done in September.

·           Turner Bowman turns 18 July 9^th.

·           Paul F. and Allen P. have begun Eagle work.

·           Dru needs merit badge information by next Thursday; work to be completed by this Monday.

·           Ten scouts completed Board of Review.

High Adventure

·           2011 Philmont crew approved; June 19 – July 1.

o   First payment of $100 due Apr. 1.

o   Potential adult leaders: Tim W., Skip P. if Allen goes, Jim C. if David goes.

·           Tentative backpacking trip Jan. 22-24 pending schedule for District Band; Feb. 5-7 backup date.

o   Tim will follow up on location.

o   Monday meeting beforehand to be dedicated to preparation; mandatory pack check.

·           BSA Council at the coast has water-based programs available we may want to investigate.

Treasure/Fundraising

·           Wreath making: to be sold for $15 each; $10 to scout’s account, $5 to troop.

·           9:30 Saturday at church.

Events/Activities

·           Rock wall climbing this Saturday 2:30-4:30.

o   Will take church bus

o   Leave at 2:00.

Web Site

·           Amy would like to add leader info to web site.

Youth Leadership

·           PLC to meet Dec. 7^th at 6:30.

·           Forms for leadership position consideration due Dec. 7^th.

·           Potential to use Facebook for PLC and troop communications.

·           SPL and PL elections next week, Dec. 7^th; appointed positions Dec. 14^th.

·           New officers terms effective January 1.

·           Should use ASPL positions to train future SPL candidates.

·           Have ASPLs report on staff positions at PLC meetings.

Events/Activities

·           Adult ADHD & Bullying training completed.

·           Troop to do setup for upcoming COH; Pack to do cleanup.

o   Note to Troop Committee and parents to help with setup.

o   Regular potluck starting at 6:30.

o   Dru Simpson has Eagle booklets for new Life Scouts.

·           Scouts on Skis Jan. 10^th – Winterplace.

o   Payment due Dec. 14^th without late fee.

o   Will take the bus.

o   $49 for the ski package.

·           PLC training Jan. 9^th from 9:00-11:00.

·           Webelos crossover March 15^th.

·           Pinewood Derby Feb. 20^th.

o   Need scouts to assist.

o   Kim Sink in charge.

·           Council Klondike Derby Jan. 29-31.
