History of the Highland Troop

Boy Scouts of America Troop 722 of Highland Presbyterian Church was chartered in 1953. The first two Eagle Scouts were Dick Downs and Peter Kellogg. There have been 122 Eagle Awards since 1954. Pictured at right: A. Neely receiving his Eagle Award, 2007

The Boy Scout troop generally meets Mondays at 7:00 p.m. in the Activity Building. Any boy between the ages of 11 and 18 may join. We also have a Cub Scout program that meets weekly. Boys who are in the first grade may join. A pre-cub scout program called Tiger Cubs meets once a month.
